WHOLE30 PALEO SHEPHERD’S PIE #paleo #diet

It's at long last here-the heartiest and most flavorful Whole30 paleo shepherd's pie you'll ever attempt. This warm and consoling formula is loaded with supplement thick veggies and finished off with a smooth, olive oil sweet potato squash. Simply delightful!

I feel like this paleo shepherd's pie formula has genuinely been in progress for quite a while. I truly appreciate making heart, one pot dishes, and this is a formula I've been making various variants of for a considerable length of time. Be that as it may, I never took the effort to create it appropriately up to this point.

I realized I needed to finish off this current shepherd's pie with a velvety white sweet potato pound. I chose to collaborate with the people over at Lindsay Olives, as they offer an excessively rich additional virgin olive oil that I knew would be ideal for fusing into the squash.

Have you had olive oil pound previously? The mix of crisp garlic and olive oil, blended with the dull white sweet potatoes is supreme paradise. Simply hold up until you attempt it.

  • Sweet Potato Mash
  • 2 pounds large white sweet potatoes
  • 8 garlic cloves peeled
  • 1/4 cup canned coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons California extra virgin olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Ground Beef Mixture

  1. Melt the oil in a large enameled cast-iron pot or saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the onions and carrots. Stir fry for 5-7 minutes until onions are translucent. Add the garlic cloves and stir frequently for 30 seconds, making sure it does not burn. Add in bell peppers and mushrooms. Cook for another 5 minutes with the lid on, until mushrooms begin to release water.
  3. Add the other tablespoon of oil and ground beef, along with the salt, pepper & seasonings. Cook over medium heat, stirring regularly to break up the meat well, until all of the moisture has evaporated and some pieces are starting to develop a brown color.
  4. Add in the tomato paste, bone broth and fish sauce. Stir well to combine and set aside.
